Environmentally-conscious (Green) building principles will elevate the conversion of the OIC into a high performance building with aesthetics and amenities to match. Adjunct staff will assist qualifying tenants with grants, planning, and management.

The OIC won't thrive in isolation. It is part of our mission to support other local development efforts in the area: natural resource and eco-tourism, barter networks, and pragmatic approaches to furthering economic advancements in the region. We will not duplicate existing efforts; rather, we will encourage and keep step with all that is unique about Orange.

We are excited to connect business entrepreneurs with the diligence and passion of social movements to realize the promises of our past in the expression of our future.

As the nation is driven to progressive new modes of energy and resource utilization, we recognize that we are endowed with not only the fundamental skills to physically support “green” technologies but also forward-thinking rural development even in a recession-riddled times.
